RUBY - Handmade purse with airplane / Rosie riveter theme

These little bags are perfect for a shopping trip and make quite a statement! Each handmade crossbody bag is constructed from 100% cotton printed in the USA from my designs. I take several photos, isolate each object and combine them in the finished design. The clear vinyl back pocket is perfect for using your phone without having to remove it from the purse. Each purse is named after a woman (friend, family member or estate sale photo find) and the purse is themed to pay tribute to her. Inside you’ll find a fun surprise, the purse lining is fully printed with attention to detail and a quote on the small pocket that can hold a credit card or lip balm.

The "Ruby" crossbody bag features a patriotic riveter theme. Like so many women during WWII, my grandmother worked as a riveter (Ruby, not Rosie) at a local aircraft manufacturer. She's wearing her work jumpsuit in the picture on the tag. I went to the aircraft museum in Wichita, KS to take pictures for this purse. I love the colors and "can do" spirit in this design. Grandma would have been proud to have it as a namesake.
